Since it’s extraordinary to have a woman leading this type of band, I felt it was important that Lady K was prominent on the cover, and then the colors had to be bright as well, to keep with the idea that this is indeed a unique CD.

Ben and I decided to go for something more casual, yet still let people know that there was some really serious playing going on (Ben Barrron is one fantastic guitarist). So we put him on the floor in the studio. Instantly casual, different than most classical portraits, and really reflecting the personality of the artist and the music.
