Groove Tonic Media mastered “Gone”, the new CD by Kurt Ribak. Kurt writes some wonderful music, and he’s got a great trio. We hear this CD is doing great in Japan.

Groove Tonic Media mastered the CD “Live at Blackhawk” by Lady K and The Kings of Swing. This was an intriguing project because the music was recorded in two different locations, and mixed by two different engineers – a case where careful mastering was required to make the CD sound consistent, and to merge all the tunes into one performance. It sounds great.

Mastering: ‘Spirit of the Guitar’ by Ben Barron

Groove Tonic Media mastered “Spirit of the Guitar” by Ben Barron. This was the most amazing project, mostly because as I was working on it, I got to listen to Ben’s amazing performances. The record was recorded in a very dry environment, so the challenge was to give the recording some space and breathing room.

Mastering: ‘Prelude and Groove’ by Tom Povse

Groove Tonic Media just completed mastering on “Prelude and Groove”, the new project by Tom Povse. Tom is a talented flutist and composer, with some exciting and creative music blending his jazz and classical backgrounds. We also did a photo shoot for the CD.
