Sheilani wanted to perform the songs live in the studio with a band, so after a couple rehearsals, we went into Fantasy Studios and recorded pretty much direct to disk. Sheilani’s working on the CD packaging right now.

Lady K has put together a band with lots of character and personality. We decided it would be more fun to try and capture each musician in an individual portrait than try and get the whole band in one shot. The photos are used in a fold-out collage on the CD booklet.
